Cowboy Bebop 01 HD Remastered version released!!!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, we finished Atragon and we start another series. This time it’s Cowboy Bebop. You’ll say: “How the hell are they doing this old series again?!”, “This has been done over and over!”, etc. Well all that is true, but we bring it to you in HD Remastered flavor! and that means uber great image quality, 5.1 AC3 sound, amazingly karaoked, and everything else that is the usual flag from your favourite group Gray-Phantom.

We hope that you’ll enjoy this new project as much as we do, come and leech it from our fast bots in the IRC channel and tell us what you think about it.

Regards.

a GREAT encode, love the vibrancy as opposed to older rips

i was saddened to see the amazing eng dub cut out.

    please reconsider throwing it in!

thank you for your hard work (G_P)

  2. The_Soulforged Says:

There’s no eng dub in the HD Remastered R2J dvds so they were not cut out, it’s just that that track wasn’t present.

  3. Thank You for releasing. looks excellent quality, I am sure better quality than the r1 dvd release. Did the remastered dvds already had english subtitles track or is it from r1 dvd releases?

  4. The_Soulforged Says:

The english subtitle track is from R1.

  5. cool. so were the r1 subs edited so fix some errors here and there and made some typesetting. or were the r1 subs were already ok?

  6. Hi, I’m using MPC with the latest CCCP and I can’t hear voices. I can hear the voices with WMP11. Do I need to change some filter or AC3 setting. Encode looks great!

    Thanks for any help.

  7. The_Soulforged Says:

Sal: R1 subs are ok but as I retimed them, I looked for errors and if any is present I fix it and of course the subs are typesetted.

dekerf: I use CCCP (with Zoomplayer) and I can hear it just fine. If you don’t have a 5.1 system you may have to set in AC3 settings to downmix it to stereo to hear it properly. Otherwise you’ll hear ok the effects and music and not the voices which are still there but would be heard with low volume. If you still have problems with it go and ask in our IRC channel, someone will help you there.

  8. Thanks The_Soulforged, yep I just re-installed Vista and I forgot to switch from a 7.1 to stereo in the Creative control panel. Cheers!

  9. thanx for the gr8 release. just wanted to know whether this HD remastered version has extra scenes / frames in it. bcos i tried to add eng audio track to it last night but it was out of sync. i did adjust the timing but as the ep progressed it became out-of-sync. seems like there are minor changes in the HD remix version and thus eng audio won’t sync with it. i’m not sure though and that is why i’m posting here to seek help/info.

  10. The_Soulforged Says:

Probably yes, no new footage/extra scenes but frames here and there hence the out-of-sync. You just experienced yourself why we don’t add external files to the media that is not already present in the DVDs (see Anonymous post above).

  11. The sync problems are probably not due to added/removed frames, and more something going odd with the framerate (i.e. somewhere along the line a program assumed 24 instead of 23.976, or vice versa).

  12. The_Soulforged Says:

Well, the fact is I don’t know but I wanted to say that since this is a special edition it’s possible that it has some kind of extra scenes or something. Still adding external media is a no-no for me.

  13. If you want the English Dub and you plan to burn, use convertXtodvd and just snatch the English File from the older Bebop Rips. Quality on these files are amazing, as is all of the remastered stuff.

    Thanks for the Rip/Sub
    Regards,
